We believe Jesus still meets people on the road, just as He did with two travelers on the way to Emmaus. Not in crowds. Not through performance. But in the moment. In listening. In genuine relationships.

Why We Exist

Simply Walking With Jesus was born from a simple conviction:

Following Jesus is not something we add to life—it becomes the way we live. It's our lifestyle.

We believe faith is meant to be lived relationally, not institutionally. It's shared and walked out instead of just talked about.

Sometimes, what emerges from these relationships looks like simple church—small, organic, Spirit-led gatherings. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, we follow Jesus first and let structure come second.

Like the Emmaus travelers, we believe hearts still burn within us when Christ walks beside us—often in the most ordinary moments.

Simply Walking With Jesus is rooted in Kerrville, Texas—but our heart is not bound by geography. We believe the gospel travels through relationships, not buildings, and that Jesus meets people wherever they are.
