The Bridge

Some roads lead you to unexpected places. And sometimes a bridge appears right in the middle of the journey — connecting two paths that were always heading in the same direction. That's what this page is.

I didn't set out to build two websites. I set out to walk faithfully — one step at a time, one conversation at a time, one Divine Appointment at a time.

Simply Walking With Jesus is my open journal. It's where I share snapshots of that walk — honest conversations, questions I carry, and the moments where Jesus shows up in ways I didn't expect. It's my testimony in real time.

Still Waters Coaching grew out of the same walk. After 40 years as a counselor, counselor education professor, and coach — and a lifetime of my own searching — I discovered that the men who find their way to me are often asking the same question I once asked: "Is this really all there is?"

Both roads lead to the same place. The Pilgrim's Desk upstairs — where I write, pray, reflect, and meet with the men I coach (typically online) — is where these two worlds Cross.
