There is a beauty in simply walking with Jesus.

It simplifies even the simple church model because everywhere I go, there is an opportunity to edify one another. Even if I’m alone on a summer hike or a cold bench on a winter day, technology makes it easy to reach out to a brother or sister in Christ.

Sometimes it’s as simple as an encouraging text message, email, or phone call.

And if I forget my phone—or lose signal—I can always pray.

God ensures that every edifying and encouraging message is delivered exactly as He intends.

James reminds us to be doers of the Word, and not hearers only. With that in mind, I’d better get busy sending those edifying and encouraging messages.
